Evan demonstrating all our school values

School News ·
Referee of the month

At Dallam we like to help parents to develop our new Year 7s into young adults that will have great futures for themselves, their families and their community.  Part of this process involves instilling our school values into all aspects of our students’ studying, extra-curricular activities and behaviour.  Evan in Year 11 is a great example of someone demonstrating all our school values of courage, respect, compassion, endeavour and integrity outside of school through his dedication to being a football referee with Westmorland County FA.

Well done Evan for getting the Referee of the Month award in October.  Commenting on his award, Westmorland County FA said,

It’s been a great month for Evan as he continues to go from strength to strength in his referee journey.  Evan made his debut in the Westmorland League this month when he refereed Burneside Res v Brough.  He was also an Assistant Referee for Penrith AFC v Westmorland County FA in an Under 18 representative game.  Evan continues to referee weekly in the Westmorland League, Kent Valley Junior Football League and the Lancaster & Morecambe Service to Youth League!  Well done Evan!

Evan’s Head of House, Mr Ainsworth commented,

A well deserving recipient. It is clear from the way that he interacts with his peers and other members of the school community he would be an asset as a referee using his well developed communications skills and calm assured approach to all he does.

Well done Evan.
