All students at Dallam Sixth Form are given the opportunity to develop their leadership and personal skills to help them to be incredibly successful young adults. We firmly believe that leadership and character development are intertwined.
The Dallam Subject Ambassador Award is an initiative that enables our students to undertake activities to demonstrate some key independence and employability skills while in the Sixth Form, these can then be used as evidence in personal statements and on their CV.
Taking part in this programme helps students to develop invaluable skills such as:
- Self-motivation
- Organisation and time management
- Influencing other people
- Teamwork
- Managing relationship.
It’s been fantastic to see our new Sixth Form Subject Ambassadors starting to get to grips with the programme and becoming role-models for our younger students at the school.
