Sports roundup – winter 2021

School News ·
Dallam Yr 9 rugby team

This half term has been busy as always for the Dallam PE faculty.  Friendly fixtures in netball, hockey and rugby have taken place alongside district tournaments and County Cup competitions in those sports and both boys and girls football teams.  Lunchtime clubs in basketball and volleyball have also been on offer.

The district Cross Country held at Cartmel Park was a success for Dallam with 14 students qualifying to represent South Lakes at January’s county event.

Orienteering at Windermere School was also a success for both participants and our Sixth Form leaders, as our fantastic Higher Sports Leadership Award students helped the event run smoothly.

Our sports leaders have also welcomed Bleasdale School in on Monday lunchtimes for rebound therapy which has been great for both sets of students.  Find out what rebound therapy is here.
