To enable a safe return to school for all our staff and students we need to put in place arrangements for students to take a lateral flow test when they return in January. To do this, we will need to stagger the return of students at the start of term.
All students must complete a lateral flow test in the morning before they come to school in January. Students should continue to test as normal (twice a week) during the Christmas break to help keep our families and community safe.
- Weds 5 Jan – Years 7 – 9 ONLY. Week B. LFD testing during extended registration and P1 and P2. Normal timetable from P3. Buses run as normal. The school canteen will be open. Years 10 – 13 lessons will be on Teams.
- Thurs 6 Jan – Years 10 – 13 ONLY. Week B. LFD testing during extended registration and P1 and P2. Normal timetable from P3. Buses run as normal. The school canteen and Sixth Form canteen will be open. Years 7 – 9 lessons will be on Teams.
- Fri 7 Jan – all students return to school. Week B. Normal school day.
If there are any changes to these arrangements, we will let you know as soon as possible by letter.
