Take a look at our lunchtime and after-school clubs list for the spring term (Feb-Apr). Click here to view extra-curricular clubs list.
This term our after-school sports clubs focus on netball, football and hockey, and there are also sessions for badminton and basketball. Plus, the gym is open too on Fridays for Years 9-11.
There are a huge variety of clubs on offer. There are clubs for those who love to lose themselves within the pages of a book, a raft of music clubs for a variety of tastes including rock and folk and choir. This is to name but a few…
Lunchtime and after-school clubs are put on for students’ learning and enjoyment. Most faculties run extra-curricular clubs so if your child is into sports, art, music, singing, science, media, English or maths, there will be something to interest them and they are a great way for them to meet other students who share their interest.
Parents and carers – please encourage your children to take part in some extra-curricular activities, there are many benefits to participating in extra-curricular activities, students can:
- Learn new skills
- Boost academic performance
- Develop social skills
- Improve time management – learning to balance time at school, clubs and home
- Impress universities/colleges
Plus, it’s a way to make new friends as well as being something fun to do!
