Clubs and extra-curricular activities at Dallam School are there to make each students’ experience a little bit extra ordinary. The clubs and activities that we offer enable students from all years to be involved in a smaller community within our whole school community, learn new skills and develop new friendships outside of the classroom. In the autumn term there is something for everyone. Students can attend as many clubs and extra-curricular activities as they want – there is no limit. Staff are really looking forward to offering the clubs to students and getting to know them outside of lessons.
Parents and carers – please encourage your children to take part in some extra-curricular activities, there are many benefits to participating in extra-curricular activities, students can:
- Learn new skills
- Boost academic performance
- Develop social skills
- Improve time management – learning to balance time at school, clubs and home
- Impress universities/colleges
Plus, it’s a way to make new friends as well as being something fun to do!
