Ellie (Year 7) and Ben (Year 9) Todhunter did Dallam proud at the British Schools Orienteering Championships this weekend, coming second and fifth, respectively. The event was held at Stowe Park in Buckingham and Ellie and Ben competed against 27 other large secondary schools.
What is orienteering?
Orienteering is an outdoor adventure sport. The aim is to navigate between checkpoints marked on a special orienteering map. There’s no set route so the skill and fun of orienteering is to find your best route to complete the course in the quickest time.
