We are thrilled to report a follow up on our previous story on Charlie Allmond who began running for England this summer.
Charlie (Year 11), representing England, has won the Under 17 Junior Home International (JHI) fell race and also becomes the 2021 Under 17 British and Irish Mountain Running Champion!
Additionally, the England team, comprising four athletes including Charlie, beat Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland to take team GOLD!!

The 4km race, comprised a return route to the summit of Slieve Meelbeg (701.9m) in the beautiful Mourne Mountain range, Northern Ireland.
The JHI was Charlie’s second England vest and he has also won all three of his age group (U17) English Championship races this year becoming the Fell Running Association English champion.
