Take a look at our updated lunchtime and after-school clubs list for the summer term. Click here to view extra-curricular clubs list.
This term our sports clubs comprise athletics, crickets, rounders and running.
New clubs include: Students from Different Ethnicities United on Tuesday break-times and Sustainable Dallam action club on Wednesdays after-school for any of our students wanting to help make Dallam School and Sixth Form a more sustainable community.
Lunchtime and after-school clubs are put on for students’ learning and enjoyment. Most faculties run extra-curricular clubs so if your child is into sports, art, music, singing, science, media, English, maths or technology there will be something to interest them and they are a great way for them to meet other students who share their interest.
Parents and carers – please encourage your children to take part in some extra-curricular activities, there are many benefits to participating in extra-curricular activities, students can:
- Learn new skills
- Boost academic performance
- Develop social skills
- Improve time management – learning to balance time at school, clubs and home
- Impress universities/colleges
Plus, it’s a way to make new friends as well as being something fun to do!
