Welcome to Dallam, here we have lovely teachers and students that can help you with anything and more. If you ever find yourself lost, just ask for help. There will always be someone to listen! – current Year 7 student.
We look forward to welcoming prospective parents and students to a face-to-face open evening at 6pm on Thurs 23 Sept, where you can have a look around the school, meet our teachers, learn more about our various boarding options and speak to our students.
From 6-8pm, you will be able to explore the various parts of the school and see activities in classrooms in all our departments and informally talk to teachers and students to ask whatever questions you may have. You can explore our fantastic Sports Centre facilities and sample catering in our Dining Hall. Our Headteacher will be giving a short talk in the hall every half an hour from 6:15pm to avoid everyone having to gather at the same time.
If you’re looking for a good school, come to Dallam, the school lunches are so nice and the lessons are so good, they can help you if you get stuck on anything! – current Year 7 student.
The open evening is also a great time to find out more about our Sixth Form and the benefits of a smooth continuation of your child’s secondary education into our further education, A Level and BTEC, offer.
In the interests of a safer COVID environment we politely ask that:
- only prospective parents/carers and students attend the evening
- visitors take a lateral flow test before attending
- everyone wears face coverings (unless your are exempt).
