A short stay immersive programme where international students aged 11-19 are placed in classes of native English speakers. During the week they will:
Junior Course (Age 11 – 15)
- Follow a full timetable of subjects alongside English speaking students of a similar age.
- Have comfortable full board boarding accommodation
- Study additional EAL as required (not included in price)
- Join weekly excursions
- Join supervised afterschool activities
- Have 24/7 residential pastoral care
Senior Course (Ages 16+)
- Follow a full timetable of subjects alongside English speaking students of a similar age.

Our location
Located in the safe British countryside, between two National Parks – The UNESCO Lake District World Heritage Site and the Yorkshire Dales – and the coastline on the doorstep it is easy to see why this part of the UK inspired world-famous writers and artists such as Wordsworth and JMW Turner.

Dallam School’s history dates back to the 1600s and it has a long history of boarding. The historic buildings have been updated and new facilities have recently been added to make sure your child’s experience in the UK is authentic but with all the modern facilities you would expect.

Travel arrangements
To ensure your child arrives safely at Dallam, we can arrange for them to be picked up from Manchester, Liverpool and Leeds Bradford airports as well as from Oxenholme Lake District train station which has a direct link to London.

The learning experience
Your child can choose from a range of subjects* from our broad curriculum taught by our experienced and enthusiastic faculty members. In their free time our team can help your child make the most out of their experience with fun days out with their new friends; hiking, biking, paddleboarding and more. Day trips to Manchester, Liverpool and Edinburgh are also within easy reach.

The Boarding experience
Our approachable, on-site pastoral team look after your children while they’re away from home – we call them Houseparents. Our team also make sure there are plenty of evening and weekend activities to entertain and encourage children to make friends and be part of our big boarding family.
